Louis XVI Center Table, In Gilded Wood
A Napoleon III period oval center table in the Louis XVI style, crafted from giltwood. The beveled glass top features a floral embroidery on silk, bordered by fine lace. The frieze is composed of a laurel wreath, and the fluted topie-shaped feet are adorned with fluted candelabra. The upper legs are decorated with acanthus leaves beneath a block motif and a foliate rosette.
