Silver Mustard Pot, France, Circa 1900
A silver mustard pot resting on a circular pedestal, with a baluster-shaped body accentuated by fluting and decorated with garlands of small flowers. The domed, hinged lid features the same decoration as the body of the pot and is surmounted by a finial in the form of a flowering branch. The added side handle is volute-shaped, ending in leaf-shaped attachments. The mustard pot retains its original glass container. France, circa 1900. 950/1000 silver, Minerva hallmark.
