A striking 1940s Tank-style ring in 18k rose and white gold (750/°°, eagle's head hallmark). Its generous volume, so characteristic of the era, is distributed in a gradient of loops and arches, revealing sometimes the radiant rose gold and sometimes lines of brilliant-cut diamonds set in white gold. Full of movement, this ring wraps around the finger with a central scroll, culminating in a bar whose straight shape counterbalances the overall roundness, creating a platform that can be worn directly on the finger or tilted, resting on the adjacent finger… in any case, this exceptionally well-designed ring is very comfortable to wear while offering extraordinary volume. Two square-set diamonds also structure the design and contrast with the ring's scrolls. The interplay of light and shadow, created by the ring's design, gives it added depth and volume.
