Baccarat, magnificent Medici-shaped crystal vase. The body is decorated with eight faceted flat ribs, and the neck features a curved lip, all resting on a faceted foot with a square base. Height to the neck: 29.5 cm; outer neck diameter: 22 cm; inner neck diameter: 15 cm; weight: 4.56 kg. In very good, near-mint condition, with a beautiful shine, generous dimensions, and no chips or cracks. There are some minor scratches on the base. The reverse is marked "Baccarat Musée des Cristalleries 1821-1840" (reproduction). The full talent of the Baccarat crystalworks' master glassmakers is evident in this piece.
