This coat rack, or "Parrot" rack, signed Thonet, is rare because it has two shelves and features sixteen hooks (8 x 2) as well as sixteen hat hooks (8 x 2), made of bent beechwood, in perfect condition. At the base, the section reserved for canes and umbrellas extends to form four double feet. This "Parrot" model from the 1895 catalog is signed Thonet under one foot.
