Pistol Model An XIII Napoleon Caavalry 1812
The An XIII model pistol was a flintlock cavalry pistol, made mostly between 1806 and 1814 in Charleville, Maubeuge and St.Etienne. This pistol was designed to equip mounted units, each horseman using two pistols. Ordered by Napoleon for only his army. The Manufacture Impériale de Charleville was a major French state arms factory that operated during the Empire (roughly between 1803 and 1815) and was famous for producing high quality flintlock pistols and muskets. The Charleville model An XIII is probably the best pistol in terms of quality. This gun we are offering for sale now is in the most optimal condition. Weight 1.27 kg. Total gun length 34.8 cm.
