A nashiji lacquer suzuribako decorated in hira and taka maki-e with gold lacquer and kirigane depicting a figure in a hut by a river under a pine tree.
The interior of the lid is decorated with figures in a boat, pine trees, persimmons, and rocks under the moon amidst clouds, also in hirame.
Dimensions: 22 x 20 cm.
Very good condition, small crack at one corner of the lid.
