A richly chased and gilded oval bronze tray resting on four sculpted feet. The rim features a high-relief decoration of vine leaves, grapes, and grape clusters, executed with great finesse and precision. The quality of the chasing and the beautiful antique patina of the gilding give the piece a remarkable decorative presence. The center is fitted with an antique mirror with a mercury-backed surface, exhibiting a homogeneous natural oxidation, attesting to its authenticity and age.
