A charming pastel portrait of a young woman, delicately executed in 18th-century France, circa 1770-1775. The young woman's elegance and freshness are accentuated by a pretty spring bouquet of pale roses with foliage, draped to the left side of her décolletage.
The portrait is on vellum, mounted on a stretcher, under its original 18th-century glass and within its frame. Transitional period.
