Corozo Oratory, Virgin Mary, Religious, 19th Century
Superb carved corozo oratory, concealing a Virgin Mary, dating from the Napoleon III period. It was often intended to be placed on a bedside table. Its blackened wooden base highlights the corozo work.
Dimensions: Height 16 cm and base diameter 5.7 cm.
