Emile Gallé and Saint Clément factory. Pair of glazed earthenware candelabra decorated in shades of blue with heraldic lions facing each other, supporting a rattle tower which in turn holds a three-branched candelabrum in chased and gilded bronze in the Rococo style. One lion bears the marks: Saint Clément, Gallé Nancy publisher. The other the signature Gallé. In good overall condition, minor chips and wear to the enamel. The gilding on the bronzes is in good condition. The candelabra are complete with their bobeches. The candelabra are removable and fit into the tower, which is lined with red felt. Total height 61 cm. Height of lions 44 cm. Base width 26 x 18 cm. Early 20th century work
