"Indochina Tray Decorated With Mother-of-pearl"
Elegant rectangular panel with mother-of-pearl inlay creating a fantastical scene depicting a temple with two houses on an island. A bird is in flight, two fish are swimming, and a carp leaps, attempting to catch the moon amidst the clouds. Good overall condition; a slight loss of decoration is noted on the trunk of a tree in the background. Origin: Vietnam, Indochina period. Dimensions: 48 x 34 cm
