Leon Pilet (1840-1916) was a French artist. A student of Armand Toussaint, Pilet exhibited successfully at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1861 to 1914. He received an award at the 1889 Universal Exhibition. He created many highly realistic statuettes, including musicians, dancers, oriental figures, and children.
