It features a patinated bronze panther, poised on the prowl, resting on a rich burl wood base (often amboyna or walnut) or lacquered wood, typically supporting a thick beveled glass top. A 20th-century masterpiece, this luxurious and rare French coffee table was designed by the legendary Claude Dalle for Maison Roméo in Paris. Renowned for furnishing the world's most prestigious apartments and palaces, Dalle perfectly embodied the "French Touch" style of the 1970s and 1980s. This centerpiece showcases a powerful and detailed sculpture of a panther on the prowl, in a deep bronze patina.
