LETTER SIGNED BY NAPOLEON I. Letter written by his secretary, Baron Faïn, and signed by Napoleon: "My cousin, write to General Monthyon that I am unaware of the losses suffered by my light cavalry during the enemy's crossing of the Lower Elbe. Have him send me a report. With that, I pray God that He keeps you in His holy care. Paris, April 4, 1813." Letter before his departure for the army for the war against Prussia. Very fine signature.
