Important 19th Century Renaissance-style Walnut Castle Sideboard
Important molded and richly carved walnut sideboard with console-style upper supports formed by chimeras, a central faun motif. Five drawers. Beautiful ornamentation including grimacing masks, fauns, atlases, acanthus friezes, shells, etc. Italian work in the style of Hugues Sambin, circa 1880. In very good condition. Impressive size. Comes from a château in the Puisaye region.
