Large Empire-style Athenian-style oil lamp in Siena yellow marble and gilt bronze, 19th century. Its marble reservoir rests on three feet topped with griffins and terminating at the base in claw feet. The entire piece features a rich and varied chased decoration. The original mechanism has been preserved and is in working order; the recent electrification is fully reversible. It is fitted with a pale green canvas shade. Good condition, with some wear to the gilding visible in the photos.
