This large tripod Satsuma porcelaine incense burner dates from the late 19th century. Japan.

It is decorated with a rich polychrome and gold design around its entire perimeter, depicting several male figures and a central female figure.

The handles and lid are adorned with Foo dogs.

Height: 37 cm.

This item is in very good condition, with only slight wear to the gilding in places.
