18th Century Sideboard

A charming Breton sideboard/chestnut wood cabinet in two sections, dating from the late 18th century. The upper section features open shelves with openwork galleries and turned elements for displaying plates or small dishes. The lower section opens with two molded doors and includes a large drawer. The wood has a beautiful waxed patina and retains its original hardware. It is in good condition; the thick, solid wood gives it a substantial appearance. Its dimensions in cm: 140 x 65 x 212 (height). This item can be viewed at my shop in Belz, Morbihan, in southern Brittany, where you can also collect it if you wish.
