Lomonosov, Cobalt Blue Coffee Set For 6
Set of six espresso cups with saucers and six biscuit saucers from the exquisite Russian manufacturer Lomonosov, adorned with the famous cobalt lattice decoration, inspired by that of a service made for Catherine the Great. The hand-painted decoration is the most representative of post-revolutionary St. Petersburg porcelain, and features a combination of intersecting cobalt blue lines intersecting with inverted cobalt drops and 22-karat gold friezes. Russia, 1950s.
