Small 18th-century Louis XV Period Marquetry Commode
A charming small bombé commode, crafted in marquetry of Rio rosewood and violet wood, dating from the 18th century. The front opens with two drawers in two rows and is topped with a beige marble slab with a molded edge. This piece is similar to the work of the cabinetmaker J.C. Stumpff, who became a master in 1766. Louis XV period.
