Leonidas Cp-2 Flyback Military Chronograph -1965-

Leonidas CP-2 (Cronometro da Polsa Tipo 2) military chronograph with two subdials, produced for the Italian Army (caseback engraved with EI) and specifically designed for helicopter pilots. It is equipped with the Valjoux 222 caliber, featuring flyback (return to flight) and minute addition (30-minute increments), and is a hand-wound movement. The original dial is in excellent condition, with beautifully patinated Arabic numerals and hands that were originally luminous. The three-piece case is unpolished with a screw-down case back, a bidirectional rotating bezel graduated to 60 minutes, and round pushers. Dimensions: 43 mm (46.5 mm including the crown) x 13 mm thick (including the crystal). The movement and case are signed and numbered. The watch is in very good condition and perfect working order, and comes with its original box and certificates. It has a 2-year warranty.
