In the style of Noël Coypel.
In very good condition, unmounted, a small pink stain at the bottom center, probably from the workshop.
Giltwood frame in excellent condition.
An earlier attribution to Raphael Mengs appears on the old mount, dating from the early 19th century.
Jules Dupan collector's stamp (lugt1440) at the bottom right. Numbered 349 at the bottom left.
