BEJA OR BEDJA DAGGER, WITH SHEATH.
Africa, Ethiopia or Sudan,
20th century. Iron, wood, silver, leather.
Overall length: 31.5 cm – Blade length: 21 cm.
Curved, double-edged blade decorated with line engravings. Characteristic wooden handle, line-engraved, with silver fittings. Leather sheath, embossed on one side with a belt loop and silver fittings.
Complete, in used condition, corrosion spots on the blade.
