Antique Wrought Iron Double Bed, Italy 19th Century

We offer this spectacular Italian wrought iron bed dating back to the first half of the 19th century.

This bed features elaborate wrought iron decoration with numerous curls, scrolls, and brass knobs. The iron is entirely handcrafted. Embellished with hand-painted gold ornamental details, it adds a unique visual accent. The bed is in good condition with signs of wear consistent with its age (see all photos). Please note that for an item like this, any signs of wear are a characteristic that adds value and distinctive character.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING DIMENSIONS:
This bed is a double-sized bed, but it is the so-called "French" size. Its internal measurements are:
Width 147 cm / 57.874 inches
Depth 199 cm / 78.3465 inches
You will therefore need to purchase a standard 140 x 190 cm mattress. Please note: the bed will be shipped disassembled; assembly is not included, but we can provide a video with assembly instructions if you need them.
