Aubusson tapestry, 18th century. After Jean-Baptiste Pillement (1728-1808), in wool and silk. Decorated with a beautiful polychrome image of a wading bird in the foreground. In the background, beautiful vegetation with an exotic motif of pagodas and palm trees. On the right, a parrot perches on a flowering tree. The border simulates a leafy frame. Woven mark MRAVBSSON in the border at the bottom left. Fully lined.
