Very likely a Central European piece from the late 19th century. The front and sides are richly curved and entirely veneered in burr walnut with highly decorative grain, framed by contrasting stringing.
The drop-front (22cm when open) reveals a compartmentalized interior with small drawers and compartments, offering a functional workspace.
Three drawers in the front with undulating lines complete the piece. Beautiful warm patina, rocaille-style hardware.
