A Delftware dinner service comprising three covered baluster vases and two trumpet vases, decorated in blue monochrome with ornithological motifs of a perched bird, bouquets of flowers, and scrolling foliage; the lid handles are in the form of birds. 18th century, circa 1770. Mark under the baluster vases: IVDúÿn; porcelain dish manufacturer. Restorations to the lids and to the top of one trumpet vase. A similar service was sold at Christie's on June 27, 2000, lot 406.
