This is Alphonse Victor BAUMANN, (1868 – 1915) painter, draftsman, watercolorist, drawing teacher at the Belfort high school and curator of the city museum, which owns several of his paintings.
He painted landscapes and historical scenes (Turenne's arrival at Valdoie).
Period: 19th century.
Condition: As is, "in its original condition," some stains, small creases and tears on the right edge, light scratches.
Dimensions: 31.5 x 24.5 cm.
