Ceramic/earthenware Doll
Ceramic/earthenware doll. Very rare ceramic and earthenware doll of undetermined origin and period. Attention collectors! It is entirely ceramic (body, legs, and arms). The head is earthenware, beautifully made up! The legs are fixed (attached to the body, no joints). The head and arms are movable. It is presented in an antique dress and bonnet. Its appearance might frighten the more squeamish. In my opinion, this is what gives it its power; this look is quite unusual. In perfect condition. No cracks, there doesn't appear to have been any restoration. This piece can be viewed at my home. Please feel free to ask for additional photos if needed. Height 53 cm
