Oriental Helmet Kulha Khud Persian Head Of Div - Turkish - Qajar - Iran - Persia 19th Century
A beautiful oriental helmet known as a Kulah Khud, used by the Ottoman Empire, the Persians, and the Indo-Persian peoples. The steel skull is engraved in the shape of a Vid's head, surmounted by two horns, decorated with epigraphic cartouches and medallions, and topped with a four-sided spike with a movable nasal guard and steel plume holder. It features chainmail extending down the back and sides of the skull. Dating from the 19th century. In good condition. Dimensions of the helmet to the spike: height 30 cm. Total height: 65 cm, diameter of the helmet: 20 cm.
