A rare beach scene by the painter Lucien Jonas, who had no equal in immortalizing lively paintings of families on the beaches, in compositions combining the joy of life and imbued with shimmering colors. Beach scenes by this artist, who explored all the themes of painting from the end of the 19th century until after the Second World War, are extremely rare, as the artist only devoted a few years to them, until his widowhood.
