Unique! 4 Gothic Style Walnut Armchairs + Footstools
An exceptional and unique set of four Gothic -style carved walnut armchairs featuring greyhounds. A special commission and superb piece, entirely handcrafted by a renowned master cabinetmaker. This set comprises four large château armchairs with armrests carved in the shape of full-length greyhounds, tall, straight, carved, and openwork backs, and rests on four legs connected by a stretcher. A small matching pouf or footrest is also included. The set is in very fine condition. A truly exquisite French piece dating from the 19th century.
