Rectangular Mahogany Console, Directoire Period
A mahogany and mahogany veneer console table, embellished with brass stringing and scrapers, opening with a drawer. It is supported by four tapered legs, terminating in stylized toupie moldings, and features a stretcher with delicate marquetry stringing. The console is topped with a white marble slab veined with gray, encircled by a gallery. The console is in good condition with a waxed finish. Directoire period.
