Oil on panel by Leland S. Curtis. This detailed survey followed Lincoln Ellsworth's polar expeditions, for which Curtis was the official U.S. artist. It is among the earliest records of the Sentinel Range, painted the year of its discovery. In good condition, it would benefit from restoration through light professional cleaning.
