Regency Period Game Table
An important game table from a château in the Gers region, carved in oak with a shell motif, resting on cabriole legs sculpted with lambrequins and supported by animal hooves. The enormous sections of wood, with their corbelled and double-caveted grain, are up to 7cm thick; these are unusual proportions.
