A beautiful Bordeaux porcelain set, comprising two liter cups and a teapot, decorated with a "barbel" pattern in green, blue, and pink. A frieze of gilded wolf's teeth borders the edge. The two cups are in good used condition. The teapot shows signs of use: the lid has a crack, there is a crack on the left side of the handle, and an original firing crack on the right side. The set is otherwise undamaged. There is a bubble in the original glaze at the base. The set bears the mark of the Vanier and Alluaud factory. One saucer is unsigned. The teapot's mark is embedded in the biscuit porcelain base. A rare Bordeaux porcelain set, Bordeaux work from the late 18th century. Weight: 1000 g.
