A delightful street scene in the Maghreb, possibly Tunisia, though this is uncertain. It depicts a street lined with houses, a minaret in the background, and two figures dressed in oriental style. Signed on the right: E. Grasset, Dated: June, date unknown. In used condition, with some paint chips at the bottom right. The frame is a later addition to the giltwood frame, in good condition. A very fine piece of work. Weight: 300g, Dimensions: Diameter: 23cm, Image diameter: 19cm.
