A minimalist, dry lacquer vase, known as kanshitsu in Japanese. A very elegant decorative piece, typical of modern Japanese style. The remarkable lacquerwork reveals multiple layers of different lacquers through successive polishing, particularly in the beige lines. A unique piece, signed underneath by the artist Hiroyoshi Amagasa. Japan, 1970s, 41 x 22 cm with a 7.5 cm opening. With its original box signed by the artist.
