" Moser Bohemian Set Of 6 Cut Crystal Glasses Decorated With Ruby Cabochons And Gold Motifs "
Hand-blown crystal, cut with a stem that extends to form the foot, which then terminates in a corolla. The rim is adorned with six trapezoidal ruby cabochons, faceted in relief. Around the cabochons, each glass is richly and fully decorated with alternating fine vermicelli and small gold-gilt leaves. The material is substantial, with the stem and foot being solid crystal. To complete the sumptuous decoration, a star is cut in high relief beneath the foot. The richness and refinement of their decoration, as well as their magnificent ruby color, will make your table a truly unique and beautiful one. As these glasses are handmade, the stems have slight variations in thickness, without affecting their height. Dimensions: Height: 14.5 cm; Rim diameter: approximately 7 cm. Very good condition. These glasses are antique, but the gilding is generally in good condition with minimal wear. Only one glass has a tiny, barely visible chip on the stem (see last photo). Supplier to the world's finest restaurants, Moser became supplier to the Imperial Court of the Emperor of Austria in 1904, and a few years later, to King Edward VII.
