Authentic two-part buffet in solid cherry wood dating from the 18th century, a piece of French provincial joinery in the Louis XV style. This beautiful country piece is appealing for its balanced proportions and elegant simplicity. The fronts feature wide, molded, and shaped panels, typical of the Louis XV style. The frieze opens with three drawers, below which are two large doors revealing ample storage space. The upper section forms a two-door display cabinet. Traditional mortise and tenon joinery, solid wood, antique hardware, and original keyhole escutcheons. The cherry wood has a beautiful warm patina, with signs of wear consistent with its age, guaranteeing its authenticity. The piece is sound, stable, and functional.
