Here is a lovely work on paper by Philippe Rouart. We note some minor damage to the frame. Philippe Rouart (1904-1993) was a ceramicist, painter, and engraver. He exhibited from 1920 onwards at the Salon du Champ de Mars, the Salon des Indépendants, the Salon des Tuileries, and in 1926 at the Galerie Druet and the Salon d'Automne. He participated with his uncle, Ernest Rouart, in organizing the Manet Centenary Exhibition in 1932, the Edgar Degas Exhibition in 1937, and the Berthe Morisot Exhibition in 1941.
