Beautiful cast iron cemetery cross, entirely openwork with a motif of the four Gospels. At the ends of the cross's arms and below Christ are medallions depicting the Evangelists Mark (Lion), Luke (Bull), John (Eagle), and Matthew (Angel-Man). It is double-sided with the same decoration on each side. Very good condition, patina from use. 19th century.
