"Marble Bust Of A Young Man. Constant Roux."
A flesh-colored (slightly pink) marble bust depicting a young Achilles. It rests on its original Siena marble base, chosen by the artist. A vigorous sculpture with a powerful character. Constant Roux was a sculptor from Marseille, the city where he was born and died. He left behind numerous works in his city, as well as internationally and in various institutions. Circa 1925-1930. Height of the bust alone: 39.5 cm. Dimensions of the base: 11 x 16.5 x 21 cm.
