Object description :

"Antonio Segui - "dubai In The Verano" "
Acrylic on canvas, signed and dated by Antonio Seguí (1934-2022). The work is titled on the back "De Dubai en verano" and dated 2018. Square format - Painted in green. Antonio Seguí was a painter, born on January 11, 1934, in Córdoba, Argentina. He moved to Paris in 1963. At the beginning of his career, influenced by artists such as George Grosz and Otto Dix, he practiced an expressionist style imbued with irony. Gradually, his figurative work evolved towards the absurd, constructing a kind of theater on whose stage a man in motion frolics, searching for his place in the world. He attempts to orchestrate, in his own way, the hopes and follies of a human comedy—ironic, deceptively naive, and unsettling. A colorful and graphic world that seems to emerge from the universe of comics. Light wood frame. Dimensions without frame: 100 x 100 cm. Dimensions with frame: 104 x 104 cm.
