"Small Grand Tour Vase In The Greek Style, Late 19th/early 20th Century"
This is an aryballos, a small, bulbous vase with a wide neck that allowed perfumed oils to be applied to the skin. The front of the vase is decorated with black figures on a red background, while the back, near the handle, is uniformly black. It is in very good overall condition, with attractive concretions that enhance its archaeological appearance. There is a small chip under the neck. Height: 15 cm
