Mid-19th century polished bronze candlestick (gilt color), chased and guilloché, mounted as a lamp.
New wiring : gilt brass socket for an E27 screw-in bulb, new wire.
The power supply is routed through the inside of the candlestick.
Its oval, beveled shade was created from a fabric with a bird and floral design, with light green moiré sides from Lelièvre.
This shade shape has the advantage of being shallow, ideal for mantelpieces, consoles, etc.
