Ernst Wahliss (1836-1900) Wall-mounted owl vase with vegetal decoration. Beige and gold glazed porcelain decorated in relief with an owl and foliage, resting on four feet. Stamped under the base: Turn, Vienna, Austria. Numbered under the base: 9556-32 (small chip to the owl's tail). Ernst Wahliss was a collaborator of Karl Klaus. In 1894, he bought Alfred Stellalmacher's factory in Turn, Teplitz, Bohemia (now the Czech Republic).
