"19th Century Marquetry Table "
A very elegant small ellipsoidal table veneered in precious wood and inlaid with marquetry. It features two drawers in the front, surmounted by a writing surface covered in antique black leather. The stretcher, with its scalloped front, is also inlaid with marquetry. It rests on four double-curved legs. Beautiful ornamentation includes finely chased and gilded bronze mounts such as the keyhole escutcheon, drawer pull, broad foliate drops, and scrollwork.
