He debuted at the Salon of 1878. He was vice-president of the Colonial Society of French Artists. He was a member of the Society of French Artists and the National Society of Fine Arts. He received a medal in 1889 and 1900 at the Universal Exhibition in Paris. He created decorations for the former Museum of the Colonies in Paris. Museums: Bern and Toulouse
